Laetigen: a Type I collagen skin booster
Laetigen is an injectable Type I collagen skin booster. Rather than relying on the skin to produce collagen, it delivers collagen directly into the dermis. It uses a hybrid formula of cross-linked collagen, intended to give longer-lasting structural support, and hydrolysed collagen, which is absorbed more quickly.
The formula also contains glycine as a supporting component and has a pH of 6.5–7.5. It is supplied as a 2 mL pre-filled syringe.
The main structural collagen of the dermis, delivered into the skin.
Cross-linked collagen for structure with hydrolysed collagen that absorbs quickly.
Included as a supporting component of the collagen formula.
Pre-filled, ready to use.

What each component does
Type I collagen
Type I collagen is the main structural protein of the dermis. In Laetigen it is supplied in two forms: cross-linked collagen, intended to stay in the tissue longer, and hydrolysed collagen, which is broken into smaller pieces and absorbed more quickly.
Glycine
Glycine is an amino acid and a main building block of collagen. The manufacturer includes it as a supporting component.
