Product overview

Revofil Aquashine PTX: the mid-to-deep soft filler in Caregen's Aquashine range

Revofil Aquashine PTX is a soft filler from Caregen, the Korean peptide specialist behind Revofil and Dermaheal. It combines non-cross-linked sodium hyaluronate with a biomimetic peptide complex in a 2 mL prefilled syringe. Distributors state a hyaluronic acid concentration of 1.5% (15 mg/mL). It was previously marketed as Aquashine BTX, and you may still see that name on older stock and listings.

Caregen describes the Aquashine family as soft fillers indicated for mid-to-deep dermal placement. PTX is the member of the range placed deepest. It is used on the oval of the face, the neckline and lines around the mouth, where it hydrates and softens the tissue rather than adding the structural lift of a cross-linked filler.

That distinction matters when you choose it. PTX is a good fit for patients who want skin softened and revitalised at depth. It is not the right product for deep folds or volume loss, which are normally managed with a cross-linked filler.

Mid-to-deep dermis

Placed deeper than Aquashine BR and Classic, at mid-to-deep dermal depth.

Hydrating soft filler

Non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid softens and hydrates. It does not lift or restore volume.

Peptide complex

Distributors describe a complex of biomimetic peptides alongside the hyaluronic acid. Check the carton for the exact list.

Know its limits

Deep folds and volume loss are normally managed with a cross-linked filler, not a non-cross-linked product.

Key features

Why practitioners stock Revofil Aquashine PTX

The deeper member of a recognised range

Clinics already using Aquashine BR or Classic can add PTX for mid-to-deep placement without changing supplier or product family.

Suits lower-face and neck work

The listed areas are the oval of the face, the neckline and lines around the mouth, where softening and hydration at depth are the aim.

Flexible technique

Distributor guidance lists serial puncture, linear threading, serial-linear and cross-over techniques with a 27G or 30G × 13 mm needle.

Clear dose guidance

Our listing gives a suggested dose of 2 mL and a maximum of 4 mL per session, with at least four weeks between sessions.

Indications & Treatment Areas

Treatment areas and indications

Areas and concerns where PTX is used in practice. It softens and hydrates at depth. It does not add volume.

Lower-face skin quality

Hydration and softening of the skin along the oval of the face.

Neckline

Skin quality and fine texture on the neck, at mid-to-deep dermal depth.

Lines around the mouth

Perioral lines where softening and hydration are the aim, in patients who understand it is not a structural correction.

Combination treatment planning

Used alongside superficial boosters, toxin or a cross-linked filler, with each product addressing a different contributor to ageing.

A note on scope

Aquashine PTX is an injectable product. Which indications are permitted, how it is classified and what training is required are set by the regulatory framework where you practise. Korea Filler Experts supplies the product. Nothing here is a recommendation to treat any medical condition.

What each component does

Components

The main ingredient is sodium hyaluronate, which is not cross-linked. Distributors give the concentration as 1.5% (15 mg/mL) and describe a complex of biomimetic peptides, which they list as seven peptides. Peptide lists differ between sellers, so check the carton before quoting the composition to patients.

Because the hyaluronic acid is not cross-linked, it spreads through the dermis and binds water. Expect softening and improved skin quality. A cross-linked filler is the usual choice for volume loss or deep folds.

Naming: PTX and BTX

PTX was previously marketed as Aquashine BTX. The letters are a product name, not a reference to botulinum toxin. Aquashine PTX does not contain botulinum toxin. Some older marketing compared it to toxin. We have found no evidence that a hyaluronic acid and peptide product relaxes muscle the way toxin does, so we do not make that claim.

Choosing between BR, Classic and PTX

  • BR — superficial booster for hydration, tone and texture.
  • Classic — superficial-to-mid-dermal booster for firmness and glow.
  • PTX — mid-to-deep soft filler for the lower face and neck (this product).
How to use

How Revofil Aquashine PTX is used

Reference information for trained practitioners. Mid-to-deep dermal injection needs training in facial anatomy. The manufacturer’s instructions for use and training take precedence over this page.

Step by step

  1. Assess and consent

Confirm the concern suits a soft filler: softening and revitalising at depth, not volume loss or deep folds. Review medical history, medication and any history of reactions to hyaluronic acid or peptides.

  2. Prepare the skin

Remove make-up and cleanse thoroughly. Mark the treatment area. Apply topical anaesthetic if required.

  3. Check the syringe

Inspect the syringe, seal and expiry. Attach a fine-gauge needle. Distributor guidance cites 27G or 30G × 13 mm.

  4. Inject at mid-to-deep dermal depth

Use a technique your training covers, such as serial puncture, linear threading, serial-linear or cross-over. Distributor guidance lists these.

  5. Respect the dose limits

Our listing gives a suggested dose of 2 mL and a maximum of 4 mL. Check the instructions for use.

  6. Plan the follow-up

Allow at least four weeks between sessions and review the response before repeating.

Administration notes

Do not oversell it. PTX hydrates and softens. It is not a lift and it does not remove deep folds. Say so at the consultation, and point patients with volume loss towards a cross-linked filler.

It is not a toxin. Despite the old BTX name, the product contains no botulinum toxin and should not be presented as a replacement for it.

  • Single use. One syringe, one patient. Discard any remainder.
  • Do not inject into infected, inflamed or broken skin.
  • Mid-to-deep placement carries a risk of intravascular injection. Aspirate and inject slowly as your training specifies.
  • Dispose of needles into a sharps container in line with local clinical waste rules.

After treatment

  • Redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising at the injection points are common and settle within days
  • Small lumps can be felt for a short time as the product disperses
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and steam rooms for 48 hours
  • Seek urgent review for severe pain, blanching or skin colour change, visual changes or spreading redness

FAQ

Revofil Aquashine PTX — frequently asked questions

What is Revofil Aquashine PTX?

A soft filler from Caregen made of non-cross-linked sodium hyaluronate with a biomimetic peptide complex, in a 2 mL prefilled syringe. It is placed at mid-to-deep dermal depth on the lower face and neck.

Is it a filler or a skin booster?

Caregen describes the Aquashine family as soft fillers placed in the dermis. PTX is the mid-to-deep member of the range. The shallower BR and Classic are used as skin boosters. Depth of placement and goal separate the uses.

Does it contain botulinum toxin?

No. PTX was previously marketed as Aquashine BTX, but the product contains hyaluronic acid and peptides and does not contain toxin. We do not claim that it relaxes muscle the way toxin does.

Can it correct deep wrinkles or nasolabial folds?

It softens and hydrates the dermis, but because the hyaluronic acid is not cross-linked it does not restore volume or give the structural correction of a cross-linked filler. Deep folds are usually managed with a cross-linked product.

What dose is used?

Our listing gives a suggested dose of 2 mL and a maximum of 4 mL. Check the instructions for use.

How often can it be repeated?

Allow at least four weeks between sessions. Distributor guidance varies on further courses, so follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Which needle is used?

Distributor guidance cites 27G or 30G × 13 mm with techniques such as serial puncture, linear threading, serial-linear and cross-over. Follow your training and the instructions for use.

How long do results last?

Duration varies by patient and area. We cannot give a fixed figure. Plan a review rather than promising a period.

Who can buy and use this product?

Injectable products are for administration by licensed healthcare practitioners. Mid-to-deep dermal injection needs training in facial anatomy. We supply qualified professionals and do not sell to consumers.
