What each component does
PDLLA, 42.4 mg
Poly-D,L-lactic acid is a biodegradable polymer used in collagen biostimulators. It is derived from fermented crops and is described as prompting fibroblasts to produce new collagen over the weeks after injection.
Non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, 7.5 mg
The HA component gives an immediate hydrating and plumping effect. It is not cross-linked, so it is absorbed relatively quickly and this effect fades within weeks if used alone.

Step by step

Assess and consent
Review medical history, allergies, autoimmune disease, scarring tendency, medication and previous treatments. Explain that part of the effect is immediate and part builds over time.

Prepare the skin
Remove make-up and cleanse thoroughly. Apply topical anaesthetic if required.
