Curenex Lipo is a contouring solution from K Derma in South Korea, the maker behind the Curenex skin booster and Curenex Snow Peel. Instead of phosphatidylcholine or sodium deoxycholate, it is formulated from plant extracts: brown seaweed (Fucus vesiculosus), horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), Fumaria officinalis and artichoke leaf, with a B-vitamin complex and vitamin C derivatives.
It is supplied as 10 mL vials, 5 per box, and is used for localised contouring on the face and body. It is for use by licensed professionals only.

Brown seaweed (Fucus vesiculosus)

Horse chestnut
Horse chestnut extract (escin) is widely used in products aimed at circulation and the look of puffiness.
Fumaria officinalis and artichoke leaf

Assess and consent
Confirm the concern is localised fat. Explain that results build gradually, vary, and are not a substitute for weight loss. Ask about plant allergies and thyroid conditions.

Mark the treatment area so coverage is even. In the face, map the nerve and vessel anatomy first.

Prepare the skin and vial
Cleanse the skin. Inspect the vial, seal and expiry, and draw up aseptically.

Inject as instructed
Inject into the subcutaneous fatty tissue point by point, using the needle, depth, volume and spacing in the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not give intramuscularly or intravenously.

The number and spacing of sessions follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Aftercare
Advise the patient to report severe pain, spreading redness, skin changes or lumps.
Administration notes
Describe the result honestly. Curenex Lipo is used for localised contouring. It does not treat obesity, and results vary.
- Single use. Do not reuse or resterilise. Discard any remainder.
- Avoid contact with the eyes; rinse immediately if it occurs.
- Dispose of needles into a sharps container in line with local clinical waste rules.

Storing and handling Curenex Lipo
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Check the vial, seal and expiry. Do not use a vial that is damaged, discoloured or contains visible particles.
Single use only. Do not retain, reuse or resterilise.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the expiry date has passed. Dispose of used vials, syringes and needles as clinical waste in line with local requirements.
