Product overview

Dermaheal Eyebag: what it is for and what it cannot do

Dermaheal Eyebag Solution is a mesotherapy product from Caregen, part of the Dermaheal range alongside SR and Dark Circle. It combines four peptides — Tripeptide-41, Nonapeptide-18, Oligopeptide-61 and Oligopeptide-73 — and is marketed for puffiness and swelling around the eyes.

Before you stock or use it, it helps to be clear about what causes under-eye bags. Prominent bags are frequently caused by fat bulging forward from the orbit, which is structural. Other patients have fluid-related puffiness that varies by day. A mesotherapy solution is a skin-level treatment. It cannot remove herniated fat and it is not a substitute for surgery.

The product suits practitioners who want a peptide-based option for mild puffiness, delivered as a short weekly course, and who will tell patients honestly what to expect. We are not aware of independent peer-reviewed clinical trials for this product, so descriptions below reflect the manufacturer’s positioning.

Four-peptide formula

Tripeptide-41, Nonapeptide-18, Oligopeptide-61 and Oligopeptide-73 in one periorbital solution.

Aimed at puffiness

Positioned for under-eye bags and swelling. It is a skin-level treatment, not a fat-removal or surgical alternative.

Short weekly course

Supplied as five 1.5 mL vials, one per session, in the weekly schedule commonly used with the Dermaheal range.

Assess the cause first

Structural fat bulging, fluid puffiness and skin laxity are different problems. Only some patients are suitable.

Key features

Why practitioners stock Dermaheal Eyebag

A defined, short course

Five single-use vials make a clear package for a patient: one vial per weekly session.

Part of a known range

Dermaheal is a recognised Caregen line, so clinics already stocking SR or Dark Circle can offer a matching periorbital option.

Complements other periorbital work

Used alongside tear-trough filler or toxin in some clinics, where each addresses a different contributor to the tired-eye look.

Honest positioning is possible

A skin-level peptide option lets you offer a lower-risk, non-surgical step while being clear about when a patient needs a surgical opinion.

Indications & Treatment Areas

Treatment areas and indications

Concerns where the manufacturer positions this product. It is a skin-level treatment and does not remove herniated fat or replace surgery.

Fluid-related periorbital puffiness

Mild swelling and fullness that varies with the time of day or lifestyle, rather than a fixed fat pad.

Mild under-eye fullness

Early or mild fullness where the patient understands that a skin-level treatment has limits.

Periorbital skin quality

A tired-looking eye area where the practitioner wants a peptide-based option alongside other treatments.

A note on scope

Dermaheal Eyebag is an injectable mesotherapy product. Which indications are permitted, how mesotherapy solutions are classified, and what training is required are set by the regulatory framework where you practise. Korea Filler Experts supplies the product. Nothing here is a recommendation to treat any medical condition, and nothing here replaces manufacturer training.

What each component does

The peptides and their stated roles

  • Tripeptide-41 (CG-Lipoxyn) — described by the manufacturer and distributors as promoting lipolysis in subcutaneous fat and having a decongestant, anti-inflammatory action.
  • Oligopeptide-61 — described as suppressing the expression of factors involved in fat deposition.
  • Nonapeptide-18 (CG-Formade) — described by distributors as having anti-ageing and anti-inflammatory effects.
  • Oligopeptide-73 — distributor descriptions of its role differ, so we do not state one.

These are functions described in Caregen’s and distributors’ materials. We are not aware of independent peer-reviewed clinical trials showing that this product reduces under-eye bags in patients, so treat the descriptions as the manufacturer’s claims rather than established outcomes.

Three common causes of under-eye bags

  • Orbital fat herniation — fat bulging through a weakened septum. A structural problem. This is not treatable with a mesotherapy solution, and a surgical opinion is the honest recommendation.
  • Fluid-related puffiness — swelling that changes with the time of day, salt, sleep or allergy. The group most likely to be satisfied with a skin-level approach, though response varies.
  • Skin laxity and tear-trough hollowing — the lid-cheek junction becomes more visible as support is lost. A filler or skin-quality question rather than a fluid one.

Most patients have a mixture, and sorting out the proportions at consultation is what keeps the treatment plan honest.

How to use

How Dermaheal Eyebag is used

Reference information for practitioners trained in periorbital injection. The area around the eye is the least forgiving on the face. Manufacturer training and the product’s instructions for use take precedence over this page.

Step by step

  1. Establish the cause of the bags

Distinguish fat herniation, fluid puffiness and laxity or hollowing. Refer patients with prominent structural bags for a surgical opinion rather than offering this product as a substitute.

  2. Plan anaesthesia

Topical anaesthetic with adequate dwell time, applied carefully clear of the eye itself.

  3. Cleanse and remove all make-up

Thorough antisepsis. Eye make-up must be fully removed before any entry point is made.

  4. Inject superficially in small aliquots

Use the technique taught for periorbital mesotherapy, with small volumes at each point. Thin skin conceals nothing, so irregularity is easier to prevent than to correct.

  5. Stay within the safe zone

Keep clear of the orbital rim and work away from the globe. Know the periorbital vascular anatomy before you inject.

  6. Follow the course

The usual schedule is one vial per session, weekly, for 4 to 5 sessions. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.

Administration notes

Consultation decides the outcome. A patient with prominent herniated fat will not be satisfied by a peptide course, and neither will a patient whose main complaint is hollowing. Say plainly which problem this product is aimed at and which it is not.

Bruising here is prominent and slow. Periorbital bruising can take seven to ten days to clear. Patients should know before treatment, not after.

  • Single use. One vial, one patient, one session. Discard any remainder.
  • Do not treat over active infection, blepharitis or inflamed eyelid skin.
  • Dispose of needles into a sharps container in line with local clinical waste rules.

After treatment

  • Small marks at the injection points, swelling and bruising are common and may take several days to clear
  • Sleep with the head elevated for the first few nights
  • No eye make-up for 24 hours, and no eye rubbing for several days
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for 48 hours
  • Any visual disturbance, severe pain or spreading redness needs same-day assessment

FAQ

Dermaheal Eyebag — frequently asked questions

What is Dermaheal Eyebag?

A four-peptide mesotherapy solution from Caregen, supplied as five 1.5 mL vials and marketed for puffiness and swelling around the eyes.

Will it remove under-eye bags?

It depends on the cause. Bags caused by fat bulging forward from the orbit are structural and are not treatable with a mesotherapy solution. Fluid-related puffiness is the group most likely to respond to a skin-level treatment, though response varies. We are not aware of independent clinical trials for this product, so we cannot promise a result.

Is it an alternative to eyelid surgery?

No. It is not a substitute for blepharoplasty and does not remove herniated fat. Patients with prominent structural bags should be referred for a surgical opinion.

What do the peptides do?

According to Caregen’s and distributors’ descriptions, Tripeptide-41 promotes lipolysis and has a decongestant, anti-inflammatory action, Oligopeptide-61 suppresses factors involved in fat deposition, and Nonapeptide-18 has anti-ageing and anti-inflammatory effects. These are manufacturer descriptions rather than demonstrated clinical outcomes.

How many sessions are needed?

The usual schedule is one vial per week for 4 to 5 sessions. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.

How is it different from Dermaheal Dark Circle?

Eyebag is positioned for puffiness and swelling. Dark Circle is positioned for periorbital discolouration. They address different complaints, and some patients need to be assessed for both.

How much bruising should the patient expect?

More than elsewhere on the face. Seven to ten days is normal periorbital bruising. Tell patients before treatment.

How should it be stored?

As stated on the carton and protected from light. Shelf life is 2 years from the production date. Each vial is single use.

Who can buy and use this product?

Mesotherapy products are for administration by licensed healthcare practitioners. Periorbital work needs specific training in that anatomy. We supply qualified professionals and do not sell to consumers.
