Elravie Premier is a monophasic dermal filler made from non-animal-based hyaluronic acid created using HI technology. Elravie Premier is a range of monophasic hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers from Humedix Co, Ltd. in South Korea, part of the Huons Group. The name combines “Ela” for elasticity with “Vie”, the French word for life. Humedix makes the gel from non-animal HA and builds it on its HI technology, which one source expands as High molecular Ideal reticulated Matrix. Humedix describes HI as a cross-linking method that forms the maximum number of stable bonds between the HA and the cross-linker.

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid, 23 mg/mL
Hyaluronic acid is a sugar found naturally in skin, where it binds water. In a filler it is cross-linked so that it lasts longer than natural HA before the body breaks it down. Lidocaine, 0.3%

How it works

Step by step

Assess and consent
Review medical history, allergies (including to lidocaine), medication, bleeding risk, previous fillers and the patient’s goals. Explain the expected result, the risks and the possibility of needing hyaluronidase.

Choose the product
Select Light-L, Deep-L or Volume-L according to the area, depth and result needed, following the instructions for use.

Prepare the skin
Remove make-up and cleanse. Mark the treatment area and apply topical anaesthetic if required.

Inspect the syringe
Check the packaging, seal and expiry. Use the sterile needle supplied or a needle or cannula recommended in the instructions for use.

Inject as taught
Light-L is injected into the superficial dermis, Deep-L into the mid-to-deep dermis and Volume-L into the deep subcutaneous layer, using the technique in the instructions for use and your training. Inject slowly and with low pressure, and stop at once if the patient reports unexpected pain or you see blanching.

Review
Assess the result, mould gently if the technique requires it, and plan any review according to the area treated.
Administration notes
Know the risks of the area. Filler can cause vascular occlusion. Practitioners should know the anatomy of the area, recognise the signs early and have hyaluronidase and an emergency protocol immediately available.

- Do not inject into infected, inflamed or broken skin.
- Do not use in patients allergic to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine.
- Dispose of needles into a sharps container in line with local clinical waste rules.
After treatment
- Redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising are common and settle within days
- Avoid strenuous exercise, heat, saunas and alcohol for about 24 to 48 hours
- Seek urgent review for severe pain, blanching, skin colour change, visual change or a lump that grows or becomes tender
Storing and handling Elravie Premier
Store between 2 °C and 25 °C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze or expose to excessive heat.
Keep the syringe in its original sterile packaging until use. Check the seal and expiry. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
Single patient, single session. Discard the syringe and needle after use.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the expiry date has passed. Dispose of used syringes and needles as clinical waste in line with local requirements.
