Check the product

- Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component.
- Take care in patients with high vitamin A or vitamin D levels, because the product also supplies these.
- Folic acid can mask the signs of vitamin B12 deficiency; the package insert gives guidance.
- Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) can reduce the effect of levodopa.
- B vitamins can colour the urine bright yellow. This is expected.
Storing and handling Multivita Inj.
Store as stated on the carton and package insert, protected from light.
Keep vials in their original carton until use. Check the seal, powder appearance and expiry.
Use the prepared solution within the time the package insert allows, and discard any remainder.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the expiry date has passed. Dispose of used vials, syringes and needles as clinical waste in line with local requirements.
