Dermaheal Dark Circle: which dark circles it is for
Dermaheal Dark Circle Solution is a periorbital mesotherapy product from Caregen, part of the Dermaheal range alongside SR and SB. It combines three biomimetic peptides — Oligopeptide-34, Oligopeptide-24 and Decapeptide-4 — with rice bran extract and licorice root extract, and is marketed for under-eye discolouration.
“Dark circles” is one phrase for several different problems. Pigmented circles come from melanin in the skin. Vascular circles are blue-purple show-through of vessels beneath thin skin. Structural circles are shadow from tear-trough hollowing. A pigment-directed product is relevant to the first, and has no reason to help the other two.
The product suits practitioners who assess the cause properly and offer it to patients with a pigmented component. We are not aware of independent peer-reviewed clinical trials for this product, so what follows reflects the manufacturer’s positioning.
Oligopeptide-34, Oligopeptide-24 and Decapeptide-4 in one periorbital solution.
Rice bran and licorice root extracts alongside the peptides.
Oligopeptide-34 is described as reducing melanin synthesis. The product is not aimed at vascular or structural dark circles.
Pigmented, vascular and structural dark circles need different answers. Only one of them suits this product.
Why practitioners stock Dermaheal Dark Circle
Made for the under-eye area, so the volume, vial size and peptide choice are aimed at thin eyelid skin.
Dermaheal Eyebag is positioned for puffiness and Dark Circle for discolouration, so a clinic can offer a matched periorbital pair.
1.5 mL vials suit the small area treated and keep each session self-contained.
Patients understand the difference between pigment, vessels and hollows once it is drawn out for them, which makes the consultation a selling point.
Treatment areas and indications
Concerns where the manufacturer positions this product. It is a skin-level treatment aimed at the pigment component.
Under-eye darkening caused by melanin in the skin, which stays constant regardless of lighting or position.
A tired-looking eye area where the practitioner wants a peptide-based option as part of a wider plan.
Dermaheal Dark Circle is an injectable mesotherapy product. Which indications are permitted, how mesotherapy solutions are classified and what training is required are set by the regulatory framework where you practise. Korea Filler Experts supplies the product. Nothing here is a recommendation to treat any medical condition.

What each component does
The peptides and their stated roles
- Oligopeptide-34 — described by distributors as reducing melanin synthesis and moisturising the skin.
- Oligopeptide-24 — described as acting on wrinkles and cell proliferation.
- Decapeptide-4 — described as supporting skin elasticity.
Rice bran and licorice root extracts are listed alongside the peptides. These roles come from Caregen’s and distributors’ descriptions. They describe intended functions, not demonstrated clinical results.
Three kinds of dark circle
- Pigmented — melanin in the periorbital skin, often constitutional and more common in deeper skin tones. It does not change with lighting or position. This is the component a pigment-directed product is aimed at.
- Vascular — the blue-purple show-through of vessels beneath thin skin. Stretching the skin gently makes it fade. A pigment-directed peptide is not designed for this.
- Structural — shadow cast by tear-trough hollowing, which changes with lighting angle and improves when the patient lies back. This needs a volume or surgical conversation.
Most patients have a mixture. Sorting out the proportions at consultation is what keeps the treatment plan honest.
How Dermaheal Dark Circle is used
Reference information for practitioners trained in periorbital injection. This is the least forgiving area on the face. Manufacturer training and the instructions for use take precedence over this page.
Step by step
-
Establish the type of dark circle
Stretch the skin gently: vascular circles fade. Recline the patient: structural shadow improves. Pigment does neither. Treat only the component this product is aimed at, and say what it will not change.
-
Plan anaesthesia
Topical anaesthetic with adequate dwell time, applied carefully clear of the eye itself.
-
Cleanse and remove all make-up
Thorough antisepsis. Eye make-up must be fully removed before any entry point is made.
-
Inject superficially in small aliquots
Use the technique taught for periorbital mesotherapy, with small volumes at each point.
-
Stay within the safe zone
Keep clear of the orbital rim and work away from the globe. Know the periorbital vascular anatomy before you inject.
-
Follow the course
Schedule sessions according to the manufacturer’s instructions for use and review the patient’s response.
Administration notes
Consultation decides the outcome. A patient with predominantly vascular or structural dark circles will see little from a pigment-directed peptide, however well it is placed. Say plainly which component you are treating.
Bruising here is prominent and slow. Periorbital bruising can take seven to ten days to clear. Patients should know before treatment, not after.
- Single use. One vial, one patient, one session. Discard any remainder.
- Do not treat over active infection, blepharitis or inflamed eyelid skin.
- Daily sun protection is part of the plan for pigmented circles.
- Dispose of needles into a sharps container in line with local clinical waste rules.
After treatment
- Small marks at the injection points, swelling and bruising are common and may take several days to clear
- Sleep with the head elevated for the first few nights
- No eye make-up for 24 hours, and no eye rubbing for several days
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for 48 hours
- Any visual disturbance, severe pain or spreading redness needs same-day assessment
Storing and handling Dermaheal Dark Circle
Store as stated on the carton and in the manufacturer’s insert. Check the carton for temperature and light-protection requirements.
Check the vial, seal and expiry. Do not use a vial that is damaged, discoloured or contains visible particles.
Single patient, single session. Do not retain or reuse an opened vial.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the expiry date has passed. Dispose of used vials, syringes and needles as clinical waste in line with local requirements.
What's included with Dermaheal Dark Circle
Fine-gauge needles and topical anaesthetic are not supplied. Check the carton for the exact number of vials in the box you receive.
Dermaheal Dark Circle — frequently asked questions
What is Dermaheal Dark Circle?
A periorbital mesotherapy solution from Caregen containing three biomimetic peptides — Oligopeptide-34, Oligopeptide-24 and Decapeptide-4 — plus rice bran and licorice root extracts. It is marketed for under-eye discolouration.
Will it get rid of dark circles?
That depends on what is causing them. Pigmented circles are the component a pigment-directed product is aimed at. Vascular circles (blue-purple show-through) and structural circles (shadow from tear-trough hollowing) are different problems, and this product is not designed for them. We are not aware of independent clinical trials, so we cannot promise a result.
How do I tell the three types apart?
Two bedside tests. Stretch the periorbital skin gently — vascular circles fade. Recline the patient — structural shadow improves. Pigment does neither and stays constant regardless of lighting or position.
What do the peptides do?
According to distributor descriptions, Oligopeptide-34 reduces melanin synthesis, Oligopeptide-24 acts on wrinkles and cell proliferation, and Decapeptide-4 supports elasticity. These are manufacturer descriptions rather than demonstrated clinical outcomes.
How is it different from Dermaheal Eyebag?
Dark Circle is positioned for under-eye discolouration. Eyebag is positioned for puffiness and swelling. Some patients need to be assessed for both.
How many sessions are needed?
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use and review the patient’s response between sessions.
How much bruising should the patient expect?
More than elsewhere on the face. Seven to ten days is normal periorbital bruising. Tell patients before treatment.
Who can buy and use this product?
Mesotherapy products are for administration by licensed healthcare practitioners. Periorbital work needs specific training in that anatomy. We supply qualified professionals and do not sell to consumers.
