The reason to choose it is waste. Because opened product is single-patient use, a 100-unit vial opened for a 30-unit glabellar treatment leaves most of its value in the sharps bin. For single-area treatments, smaller patients, or a clinic building its caseload, the 50-unit vial matches the session more closely.

Reading the carton
Before you accept a delivery, check four things:
- The lot / batch number on the carton matches the number printed on the vial.
- The expiry date leaves you enough working life — we do not dispatch stock with under 6 months remaining unless agreed in advance.

Inspect the solution
Check the lot number and expiry date, and confirm the seal is intact. The solution should be clear and free of particles. Do not use a vial that is cloudy or discoloured.

Bring to working temperature
Take the vial from refrigerated storage shortly before use. Do not warm it artificially.

Disinfect the stopper
Wipe the exposed rubber stopper with an alcohol swab and allow it to dry.

Draw directly
Draw the required volume straight from the vial with a sterile syringe and a fine-gauge needle. Do not add saline or any other diluent.

Do not reconstitute this product. It is supplied as a solution at 4 units per 0.1 mL and adding diluent would change the concentration your dosing assumes.

Storing and handling Innotox 50UI
Store refrigerated at 2–8 °C in the original carton, protected from light. Do not freeze. Freezing is a particular risk for a liquid product — a frozen and thawed vial must not be used.
Keep at 2–8 °C and use within the period stated in your approved prescribing information. Single-patient use only. Do not pool vials.
Transfer stock into a monitored medical refrigerator on arrival and keep a temperature log. A liquid formulation has less tolerance for temperature excursion than a freeze-dried one, so check the coolant packs on delivery.
Do not use the vial if the solution is cloudy, discoloured or contains particles, if the expiry date has passed, or if the cold chain is known to have been broken.
